In 2019, Siwek applied and were selected for the Hennepin County Business Recycling Grant to assist us in a major up haul.
Since February 2019, we have recycled 153.55 tons of scrap building materials. That’s 75.25% of these materials. Materials are then taken to various facilities and repurposed for other projects & uses!
Of the 75.25% recycled materials:
- Aggregate 49.08%
- Alternative Daily Cover 18.96%
- Metals 3.65%
- Mixed Woods 2.78%
- Shingles 0.75%
- Fibers 0.03%

“My Eagle Project has now been completed. Thank you so much for your help with the lumber donation. Dave was helpful getting the order set up and Sam was really helpful with picking out the right boards for the benches and cutting them down to size. They use this campfire quite often and especially during their summer camping week…these new benches will greatly improve that area for the children.”
